Missing MIME-Version header in emails downloaded with POP3

I’d like to stop using Gmail, and decided to try Disroot’s email service. I use a text-based email client on Linux, in conjunction with fetchmail and POP3. I discovered that emails that I send to my Disroot email address are missing the MIME-Version header when I fetch them with fetchmail. This causes problems with my email client, which assumes that if the MIME-Version header is missing, the message is not MIME-formatted.

Is there a reason for this behavior? I’m guessing that this is due to postfix configuration at Disroot, but I could be wrong about this.

Hmmm… Pretty sure our headers used to include MIME version. I will look into that and fix it.

Quick check reminded me we did ignore mime-version header due to removing sensitive information from the headers. I’ve now changed the setup and replace any MIME-Version header with MIME-Version: 1.0

Please let me know if the headers are still ignored.
Thanks for reporting.

Thank you! It looks good now.
